The White Elephant Preview Sale will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2005, from noon to 4 p.m. An entrance fee of $12.50 is charged when you purchase your tickets in advance, or $15.00 at the door that day. You can purchase tickets in advance at the Oakland Museum of California at the Information Desk on the second level. To get tickets to this event by mail, please send $12.50 per ticket to White Elephant Preview Sale, P.O. Box 11605, Oakland, CA 94611. Make the check or money order payable to W.E.S. Preview. Please do NOT send cash. Send a stamped self addressed envelope and a note indicating your name, address, and telephone number, as well as how many tickets you wish to purchase.

Hours for the 2005 White Elephant Sale are Saturday, March 5, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. and Sunday, March 6, 11 a.m.–4 p.m. There is no admission fee for the March sale dates. For recorded information, call 510/536-6800.

Driving directions from the north: drive south on 880 and take the Fruitvale exit. Make an immediate right on Derby Street and follow Derby Street to the Estuary. The warehouse is on your left as you approach the Estuary. From the south, take 880 to 29th St. exit, take a hard right on the frontage road and follow signs to Fruitvale Ave. Right on Fruitvale, go under freeway. Right on 7th to Lancaster. Left on Lancaster.

Parking is quite limited, so we recommend carpooling or taking public transportation. The Fruitvale BART Station is just a few blocks away. During the March sale and the Preview Sale, a shuttle will run between the BART station and the warehouse.
